As my swing dancing hobby turned into a teaching gig, I was inspired to co-found a whole swing dance school in my home town.On top of regular teaching, I dealt actively with many administrative and organisational tasks. My other passions and skills came to good use as I developed a complete branding and marketing strategy, from the design and aesthetic of the brand to the nitty gritty of digital and print advertising of all courses and events. I led the management of a variety of swing-related events focused on vintage music, dancing, movies and culture.From our efforts emerged a community of dancers who built a local vintage sub-culture and made swing part of Plovdiv’s cultural life.
