CurrentAdvice on tendering/bidding procedures, examine and analyze all tenders/bids, conduct negotiations with clients and developers on behalf of the company, and review awarded contracts with ownership Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in potential and awarded projects Establish and maintain tendering/bidding process and set up cost monitoring/reporting systems and procedures Search strategically to find new bidding opportunities, gather available proposals and open tenders on the market, regularly review status of outstanding project bids, update status of awarded contracts with ownership Present prepared estimates to ownership by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors Resolve discrepancies between tendered contracts and active orders by collecting and analyzing job information Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of ongoing projects Visiting job sites to observe site conditions and meet with clients and vendors to discuss the scope and scale of awarded projects Collect and analyze available production data of completed orders to determine actual fabrication costs Assist in developing and maintaining ongoing tracking and unit cost/calculation spreadsheets, the sub-trade database, and technical submission written material Propose adjustments to the bidding process based on changing data related to production costs Prepare economic feasibility studies on market changes and adjust cost estimates accordingly
