As the responsible and focal group for Microsoft, Intel, and associated OEM/ODM ecosystems dynamics, I was responsible for navigating existing and new technical relationship management with those partners while working to influence our common customers to embrace the WD technical path. Managed feedback and updates to major development teams within Windows Core and Storage for proposed changes to requirements for Windows Hardware Testing, and bugs found in weekly partner build drops from Microsoft.

Responsible for storage industry engagements for Windows Core storage, including standards, partner driver development and delivery and third-party quality tracking. I have delivered Windows 7, Vista SP1, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 features definitions, features, and cooperative successes with the storage industry. I was successful in starting and have recently maintained Microsoft's memberships in the INCITS Storage TCs, including those for SCSI, Fibre Channel and ATA/SATA. Finally supporting Windows 7 through delivery, and now into next revision(s) of the products, I am focusing on directing new features towards industry trends and mutual partner successes.

Responsible for creating, implementing and executing testing plans for Medusa Lab's customers, focused on performance, protocol and interoperability in storage transports. Developed and implemented test platforms for SMI-S based open-source management platforms using Windows Visual Studio tools, on Windows storage management clients. Participated in next-generation Medusa Lab's Test Tool revisions, application to tools exercise of storage transports when exercised with Finisar XGig Fibre Channel and Ethernet analyzer tools, and extending those tools impact to customer's test plans.

Guided Crossroads product development of released Storage Router products and products under development consideration. Participated in negotiation and review of terms for OEM partner placements, Quality and Operations positions on technical merits and business justification of such agreements and support questions. Took ownership of, and created initial patent defense position on initially allowed art, developed and drove expansion of initial patent placements to broaden scope and protect intellectual property created at Crossroads. Managed and mentored organization and ranked individuals in focal review placement.

Worked on building internal focus and attention on current trends in consumer and enterprise storage market; specifically in attention to ATA and SATA, CD-ROM and DVD Authoring, SCSI, Fibre Channel and iSCSI directions. Worked with the Core Storage team on emerging changes in the SCSI market focused on Fibre Channel's emergence as a transport for Windows, strategizing on fabric management and needs in exposing storage fabrics to the operating system including first methods for managing iSCSI storage naming(s) in Windows. Created Microsoft's first Primary representation into the ANSI INCITS Technical Committees (SCSI, ATA, and Fibre Channel). Delivered on storage technology in Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP products, while influencing Windows Server 2003 before leaving.

Managed and directed NEC Systems America staff in support of all Japanese domestic systems testing and qualifications using the Windows Hardware Quality Labs tools and definitions. Guided NEC's corporate participation in testing and feedback for Microsoft's first USB stack and application to WHQL requirements. Storage Dimensions - Director of Quality and Integration

Hired as Hardware Support Engineer in Adaptec's brand-new end user support department, moved to Hardware Support Manager for same team in nine months, eventually moving to Applications Engineering department for personal and enterprise connectivity within the first 18 months. Managed team of six engineers including focal reviews and stack-ranking for compensation.
