Responsible for:- running an efficient IT department while putting teamwork first- encouraging proactive thinking and active problem solving- coordinating developers, system engineers and IT technicians- planning projects and coordinating efforts with other department- managing local terminal IT needs together with company Global IT policies and procedures- ensuring uninterrupted running of Terminal Operating System – Navis N4 and all connected applications and services- managing IT department budgeting and project timelines - maintaining and evolving cybersecurity standards while managing user education and training - ensuring all physical and virtual systems are running efficiently and within company standards- finding new solutions to help IT and other departments reach their goals more efficiently while managing costs- ensuring backup, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures are evolving and are tested - managing constant development and update of inhouse applications and TOS - exploring new hardware and software solutions that could help company businesses processes evolve

Responsible for supporting equipment in a Microsoft, Cisco, VMware environment,from design through implementation and support. Performing a wide varietyof installation, configuration and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware andsoftware in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment. Providing repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure. Troubleshooting and resolving workstation, server, mobile devices and client related issues when contacted by clients by providing both on-site and remote support.

Responsible for maintaining and implementing IT infrastructure including networking, servers and client devices based on Microsoft, Cisco, VMware and HP solutions. Maintaining and monitoring stable and secure IT environment for clients. Working with multiple platform devices using WiFi and 3G technologies.

Maintaining a functional IT department. Ordering of IT goods, consulting sales personnel and consulting with buyers. Leading a functional IT sales team.
