As a member of the MSL team, I serve as a credible source of evidence-based information that demonstrates the value of Otsuka products from the clinical, economic and humanistic standpoint and works in partnership with providers, payers and other key stakeholders to apply practical real-world solutions to improve patient outcomes.• Collect and submit field medical insights that drive prioritization of evidence generation efforts and healthcare solutions.• Identify opportunities for solutions within territory that improve patient outcomes.• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of territory, the interconnectivity of the key decision makers within and the begin to understand challenges faced in providing and delivering optimal patient care.• Disseminate disease state information to customers in the field on a regular basis utilizing remote customer engagement platforms.• Communicate and deliver pharmacoeconomic data (including quality, cost and patient outcomes) that address payer and provider needs and priorities; including implementing practice decision support and care management tools that positively impact the delivery of patient care as needed and with the support of an MML.• Conduct all interactions with healthcare professionals, payers and other stakeholders in accordance with all applicable Otsuka policies and procedures

Disease Management- Work directly with members to rapidly bring their chronic conditions under control, particularly hypertension- Provide and/or create educational materials to members to help them manage their chronic conditions- Address drug utilization concerns and make coverage decisions as needed- Work directly with members and providers to recommend the initiation, modification, or discontinuation of drug therapy- Assess therapy gaps and address them Medication Therapy Management- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews with members who have complex medication regimens- Identify and resolve drug therapy issues to optimize care and improve outcomes

Greater New Orleans Area

As a member of the Digital Medicine Care Team, I leverage digital tools and patient-entered data to optimize the management of medication therapy to meet chronic disease goals and improve patients’ health outcomes. I work directly with patients via telephonic outreach and electronic communications to identify, resolve and prevent medication related problems, as well as meet treatment goals. While under a collaborative practice agreement, I work autonomously to combat clinical inertia, optimize medication therapy, and provide patient education.
