Roles and Responsibilities,1.) Job Owner Support Services:Core responsibilities :- Service Delivery | Team Management | Resource Allocation | Process Improvement | Vendor and Supplier Management | Compliance and Quality Assurance | Customer Satisfaction | Reporting and Documentation | Problem Resolution | Strategic Planning. Activities include but are not limited to:— Leading the establishment and management of a remote Service Desk, following ITIL4 best practices, delivering topnotch Support and Optimization to digital infrastructures across Europe and Oceania.— Leading support operations for a cutting-edge Digital Transport Infrastructure serving over 100 million customers annually, a state-of-the-art Child Care Hospital catering to over 144,000 visitors yearly, a dynamic delivery company handling over 78 million parcels & packages annually and a Telecom company. 2.) Technical Support Engineer:— Proactively taking charge of customer issues, including P1, P2, P3, P4 incidents, and service requests, and ensuring their resolution within agreed SLAs and QOS.— Conducting in-depth research, diagnosis, and troubleshooting issues with digital systems hosted on-prem and cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure.— Adhering to established procedures for the appropriate escalation of unresolved issues to internal and external teams.— Contributing to knowledge base documentation and Change management.— Improving and implementing pre-emptive monitoring and alerting3.) Scrum Master— Spearheading the transformation of software development teams, instilling AGILE SCRUM principles and practices, resulting in customer-centric, self-managed teams.4.) Holacrcy Coach— Guiding the organization in the adoption and successful implementation of Holacracy, fostering a more agile and dynamic work environment. 5.) Security Officer— Leveraging the ITIL4 continual improvement model to vigilantly monitor and enhance company-wide security practices.

Vergold is a consulting firm with over 7 years cognitive operations in Nigeria. We provide support services to early stage start-ups and newly founded SMEs; corporate clients and government institutions. Our services include consultations for ideas clarification and validation; documentation of business requirements for financing and investment-readiness; staff recruitment and training; software development and mobile applications; process design, automation, and continuous process management; and start-up incubation. Our services make it easier for entrepreneurs to execute their ideas and realize their vision.Vergold Consulting has a training arm which provides digital skills training to entities and individuals, thereby contributing to the talent pool in the local tech ecosystem. Our online courses cover both self-paced and virtual live training sessions. Our digital skills training curriculum is skill-focused and tailored for learners without a formal background in technology. We also run project-based physical training targeting vulnerable and excluded groups who may not have access to online courses.Our most recent training activity is a donor-sponsored digital skills training program which is targeted to 1000 beneficiaries which are 67% female, and vulnerable youths. Beneficiaries are to be trained and mentored in software and product development. Each cohort does a 4-month long training followed by 6 weeks of mentoring and internship. Successful completers are matched with digitally-enabled jobs along our clients’ value chains and our resident start-ups. Vergold is the lead partner in the consortium delivering this project, which is billed to run until 2025.
