About Martin Ku

I am currently working for BON Electronics as a regional manager in the overseas sales department whose main responsibilities are to do sales activities to existing customers and excavate potential customers. My job involves following up orders from customers, promoting our products to new customers, implementing marketing strategies, and so on. Before joining BON, I worked for PRISM Technology and KTV Global as an overseas sales manager which are the manufacturer of display products, and Standard Telecom which is a cellular phone manufacturer. The products I have handled are CRT TV, LCD TV, LED TV, CCTV Monitor, Digital Signage, Video Wall, Broadcast Monitor, etc. The markets I’ve been charge are North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. My total career in overseas sales field is about 10 years.     At PRISM Technology, I was in charge of selling LCD TV, LED TV, Digital Signage in South America market.It was my goal at PRISM Technology to enter into South America market again where PRISM Technology had suspended sales activity for three years. The success of this project helped us to launch new design of models and reduce the material costs without making huge investment on molds.

    I worked for KTV Global Corporation as a sales manager in overseas sales department for about 8 years, which is a manufacturer of CRT TV, LCD TV, Hospital TV, CCTV Monitor, and Digital Signage. I accumulated my experience in managing various kinds of customers such as big electronics shops, CKD/SKD manufacturers, distributors, retailers, local agents in South America. I sold Hospital TV to a customer in Canada, and CCTV monitors to customers in Europe. I was also responsible for following up the management and communications between headquarters and a foreign cooperation in New Jersey, USA. Most outstanding achievement at KTV Global Corporation was to sell the molds of CRT TV cabinets to a big customer in Argentina. Injecting cabinets locally could reduce the customer’s manufacturing cost by saving huge freight charge from Korea to Argentina. The customer could have the better competitiveness in price, and it helped the customer to increase the sales volume and get more market share. KTV Global Corporation’s sales amount for Argentina more than doubled in the next year. My contribution being recognized, I received CEO award which was presented to the outstanding employee of the year.
