Inbound Consumer Loan Officer (CLO)Inbound CLO's are responsible for handling all applications sent from Business Development Officers (BDO) at MCU through their network of referral partners, working directly with members, BDO's, and referral partners to close loans, handling and managing a pipeline of between 10-20 applications on any given day. We are also responsible for the credit bureau reviews, mild underwriting review, gathering documents to conduct loan closings, and selling additional products such as Checking, Savings, Debt Protect, GAP insurance, Automatic Payments, and Direct Deposit.Additional duties include:-Interview consumer loan applicants. Assist member in completing loan applications over the phone and/or electronically.-Collate, analyze, and evaluate information & documentation in support of loan applications.-Evaluate borrower Character, Collateral, Capacity to Repay, and Credit position as a part of loan decisioning process based upon individual circumstances. -Calculate debt-to-income ratios, collateral needs, and payment plans on consumer loan applicants-Recommend loan approval/denials, counter-offers, and deviations from conventional loan structure and pricing. -Manage loan closing process with customers.-Recommend loan modifications and/or debt restructuring as appropriate based upon borrower circumstances.
