Responsibilities include:● Restructured life skills program to include a daily class that was curriculum centered, visuals to support all life skills clients at any learning style, restructured life skills daily schedule to include daily living skills goals, and created checklists for each chore in day to support client independence in learning daily living skills with less staff cueing.● A part of program planning teams● Became the Lead of Programs from the owner● Taught Self Control Strip, Problem Solving, Recovery, Self-regulation, and other techniques to clients ● Assisted tracking behavior data, progress notes, and note taking for future timelines at team meetings● Provide eating, drinking, clothing, bathing, and hygiene assistance as required● Responsible for all staff following the client’s Individual Support Plan (ISP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP) to meet medical, life skills, social skills, and behavior needs/goals● Representing/Advocating for the needs of the desires of clients across multiple settings, including state meetings and medical supports● Experience identifying and safeguarding confidential information and materials with the ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions● Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work as part of a high functioning team.
