As a marketing specialist my core responsibilities are creating compelling campaigns with relevant content, constantly improving our digital presence through paid search, social media, and other means of advertising. I also have a focus on lead generation, marketing strategy, graphic design, and overall creative thinking.

In my Creative Marketing Specialist position I am responsible for creating marketing materials for the Employer Solutions business. I lead our social media marketing efforts, enhance digital marketing, implemented and continuously enhance Google AdWords, lead webinars, art direct, and help to ensure that our content is engaging, compelling and well designed.

As the creative designer for IAPD, I oversaw the design of all of IAPD's marketing collateral, logo designs, and website content management. I also collaborated on marketing ideas and strategies for events and promotions.

At KCP&L I worked with the Creative Services team to work with photography, launch the Electric Vehicle Charging Station initiative around the KC area, work with the marketing department, and create Graphics for the company.

As a Marketing Intern for Burns & McDonnell I created and lead events for the interns, worked with project managers, designed graphics, and wrote articles and blogs for the Burns & McDonnell website.

I worked at Penton Media as an intern for two summers. Here I learned a lot about pre-press printing, magazine layouts, and copy writing. There were a lot of opportunities for me to interview CEOs, and work along side interesting people in the Transmission and Distribution industry.
