We are looking for dynamic staff with a real commitment to making Warwickshire the best it can be, sustainable now and for future generations.The School Data Protection Service fulfils the role of data protection officer for over 300 schools, academies, and multi-academy trusts in Warwickshire and further afield, providing advice and training to support schools’ compliance with the UK GDPR. The service was established in 2018 and has received many plaudits from subscribing schools.

• reviewing grant claims and miscellaneous accounts,• administering the service’s electronic audit management system (Galileo) including the production of management information for the service’s management team and administering, in conjunction with the software supplier and the Council’s IT service, the periodic upgrades to the system,• assisting with audits and investigations into alleged financial irregularities• extracting and analysing information on behalf of other members of the team using the Service’s data analysis software (Idea)• assisting with the preparation of periodic reports to clients’ audit committees including the chasing of recommendations• assist with undertaking internal quality audits and administer the Non-conformance process as required by the Service’s ISO accreditation and provide support to the service to ensure the accreditation is maintained• general administrative support to the management team (e.g. arranging of meetings) and other staff• maintenance of the service’s intranet and web-site pages• arranging the download and subsequent transmission of information as part of the council’s participation in the NFI project• financial administration including the processing of invoices and production of financial information for consideration by the service’s management team• Undertake all other duties as the Head of Internal Audit and Insurance determines are appropriate and commensurate with the grading of the post.

Audit experience in ISO 9001:2015, 14001 & 18001 standards. I manage and review all ACSQ Certification audits from U.K and Italy clients before approving and issuing the certificate.

• Ensure the effectiveness of British Gas New Housing Connections (BGNHC) audit processes to identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate by implementing preventative/corrective measures so as to maintain ISO9001 and Gas Industry Registration Scheme (GIRS) Design & Project Management accreditations • To lead external audits on behalf of BGNHC when undertaken by external accreditation bodies ensuring that appropriate preparation has undertaken to demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements • To ensure BGNHC maintains best practice and regulatory compliance within our area of operations covering Design, Project Management and Construction activities • Ensure information systems are operated to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records. • To implement and develop systems and business processes; reporting on quality and performance including the production of KPI monitors.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOBThis role provides support and assistance to the Deputy Chief Executive relating to TrustMark’s ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) and its on-going accreditation. To ensure that the TrustMark QMS Manual, Quality Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are regularly reviewed and updated in order to reflect current working practices.The on-site inspection and auditing of TrustMark Scheme Operators for compliance with their TrustMark Scheme Operator Licence Agreement, the TrustMark Core Criteria and agreed operating procedures.SCOPE OF JOBThis is a varied role overseeing TrustMark’s systems, procedures and services to ensure they remain fit for purpose. Monitoring Scheme Operators and their members to ensure compliance with Membership Rules and Code of Practice.
