Led a team in modernizing a legacy baseline to enhance the build process using Gradle. This included providing comprehensive documentation on Gradle best practices so that all team members would fully leverage the tool.Generated Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) to evaluate modernization efforts and conduct baseline builds to identify the improvements. We identified a significant reduction in build times due to more proper modulization and proper configuration of the Gradle tool.Developed an internal Basis of Estimate tool utilizing React (Material-UI), AWS, and Docker. Led a team developing a proof of concept for the USMC within the GCSS-MC program. My individual role included developing an application using Appian for use in a disconnected environment. This application interfaced with Oracle EBS SOA services and had to follow a caching strategy to properly allow the field personnel to batch their work and once connected, sync updates.As a technical lead, assisted a team and implemented a claims module in a DoD logistics application to replace COTS software. This resulted in a more stable and pleasant experience for the customer who was typically in avery stressful situation.Utilizing modern Java EE technologies, Java Server Faces, JavaScript, RESTful services, and stored procs within Oracle we created a high-quality product.As part of the modernization effort, created UI mock-ups for review and approval by product owners and implemented said designs using JSF and related libraries. I owned a family rental business with my mother. We managed 9 residential units in Alton, Illinois.

Developed new features and fixed bugs in various products for Carshare and Daily Rental Operations. This included multiple projects that allowed business operations to run more efficiently, resulting in higher revenue for individual branches. Changes to the UI include HTML/CSS/JavaScript to better support workflows.I was a member of multiple backend projects to allow the transfer and utilization of data between legacy systems within Enterprise to help support businesses operations between departments. This primarily included leveraging Java technologies to migrate from a mainframe infrastructure used for managing vehicle information.Utilizing Spring Boot, ReactJS, and PHP, I contributed to major projects including API Gateway, Fleet Communicator, and Truck Telematics to better integrate modern CareShare technologies with Enterprise legacy systems. This allowed the CarShare department to better leverage pre-existing data such as members on the Do Not Rent list to mitigate risk to vehicle rentals.Created a dashboard utilizing Spring Boot and React for business operations to monitor current rental information.Identified a bug and fixed it within the legacy PHP operations product for CarShare. This resulted in potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in corrected billing for the hourly carshare application.

With minimal previous experience, learned the COTS product IBM OMS and leveraged documentation and SME’s within the organization to develop solutions to logistics related issues in the product. This includes working directly with the architect to design and develop solutions with OMS best practices.As a member of the production support team and release manager, I coordinated high profile bug fixes and small features from requirements gathering and analysis to production release. I collaborated with the whole development team and management to identify processes and methods to better deliver consistent improvements with minimal downtime.

As one of the first members on the team for a newly won contract by CACI, I assisted the team in standing up infrastructure technologies for the development and testing of the DPS application from scratch. With minimal direction and extensive use of provided documentation, I stood up multiple environments using Weblogic, Java EE technologies, Windows, and Linux in addition to COTS products such as Siebel.I instructed more junior members on how to utilize said technologies to setup local environments for troubleshooting. Without these functioning environments, we would not have been able to perform proper analysis and testing for production related events. This included UI related issues with JSF, middleware issues, and data related issues.
