AutoCat Quality Control team was created and designed fully by the need for the quality of the AutoCat database to be increased. This team was part of the global quality team of GfK and was established especially in Bulgaria. My main duties and responsibilities as a Quality Specialist for the Spanish Automotive market were the following: ▪ Providing the necessary documents for feedback to all centres for data processing;▪ Coordination, consultation and support operations related to the quality control in all offshoring centres and local countries for data processing globally;▪ Quality control, based on daily inspections of representative samples of products created in the database related to different automobile brands;▪ Maintaining effective communication with all offshoring centres and local countries for data processing;▪ Supporting the preparation and revision of the global definitions for data entry, guidelines, rules and process standardization in data processing;▪ Providing technical assistance to the team members;▪ Maintaining communication with the developers concerning the improvement of the measurement tools;▪ Analyzing and summarizing the eventual causes of bugs and errors so that they can be reduced;

AutoCat (AutomotiveCatalogue) is a very ambitious project of GfK with a specific target – creation of highly accurate database for one of the biggest automotive companies in the world. Database, which includes full information for all of the new vehicles which were on sale in the biggest five European automotive markets – Germany, United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy. My duties and responsibilities as a Data Processing Specialist as part of the AutoCat team were the following:▪ Working with a specialized data processing software, including IBM - Master Database Management Collaboration Server (MDM CS), Atlassian`s JIRA issue tracking tool, SAP time tracker tool and Microsoft Office Applications;▪ Data processing and analyzing of information about the automotive markets;▪ Searching for very specific technical information on the Internet and updating the existing database;▪ Supporting the Supervisor and Team Leaders in their daily work and performing other related tasks as required;▪ Generating Quality Reports on a daily basis only a few months after joining the team;▪ Providing technical assistance to the team members;▪ Suggesting improvements of some of the processes;▪ Gaining exclusive knowledge of the latest technologies and innovations in the automotive industry;
