The Company continually targets cost effective alternatives to develop our portfolio of projects and to deliver our defined growth plan.Key Responsibilities:▪ Provide day to day process control systems support to plant for Distributed Control Systems (Emerson DeltaV) infrastructure in Horizon oilsands plant.▪ Maintain Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) in Main Control Room and fields (update graphics and programs as required), participate in Alarm management/rationalization.▪ Involved in daily plant issues/troubleshooting/changes and asset reservations; review and implement Management of Change (MOC).▪ Provide technical support / inputs to Operations, Other Engineering disciplines, Capital projects. Assist & train junior Engineers/Technicians - on boarding process.▪ Manage Control Systems Infrastructure Administration, Performance improvement and optimization, maintain operating unit’s KPIs to improve system health, reduce nuisance alarms & attend critical alarms.▪ Ensure system hardening, backup verifications, maintain Cybersecurity best practices, manage Patch deployment/management.▪ Single handedly developed Dashboard to monitor the overall plant virtualization hardware (Dell VRTX).▪ Participate and contribute in new technology platform / application pilot projects (ex. Emerson Data Lake).▪ Provide support to APC applications, PI Historians, Critical Control loops monitor/optimization.▪ Commission and monitor field devices, Interface PLCs and SIS Systems (Triconex).▪ Contribute in Control systems maintenance /upgrade procedures writing/reviewing.
