Environmental Social Governance (Esg) Business Analyst
Currento Assist the Director of Sustainability in designing, implementing, advocating and measuring a comprehensive ESG strategy.o Manage data collection for ESG standards, metrics and goals against reporting frameworks.o Manage data governance and controls to ensure complete and accurate data, which includes data sources, collection processes, validation and use.o Collect, analyze and report on ESG data with a focus on scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions for the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), EcoVadis, OIA's annual Forward (ESG) report and Nike's Supply Chain Sustainability Index.o Manage and maintain an internal carbon reporting database, leveraging EcoTransIT.o Perform transportation and logistics related carbon analysis and reporting requirements for clients.o Prepare data visualizations using Excel.o Develop insights and reports, presentations, and proposals for a variety of clients and stakeholders.o Research, analyze and assign CO2e, financial and environmental impact values to demonstrate the benefits of transitioning to a paperless work environment, phasing out gas powered vehicles in favor of electric vehicles, and investing in airlines utilizing sustainable aviation fuel. o Analyze ESG, carbon and environmental policies and regulations impacting client operations, science based carbon reduction targets, and the environmental impact of supply chain transportation.o Lead the development, implementation and coordination of an internal ESG employee engagement program.o Research and ensure packaging recyclability compliance with EU regulations.o Analyze and report on the carbon reduction benefits of packaging tissue reduction and manufacturing localization efforts.o Assist in coordinating and managing the Business Continuity plan.
