I am a current master's student at Monash University, studying biomedical science and health science. I equipped with a diverse range of general knowledge in biomedical fields with special insights in pharmacology and neuroscience. I am experienced in lab work - I have completed an 8-months project looking specifically at how prefrontal cortex regions communicate with the hypothalamus to control food-seeking and eating behaviours using animal models. Additionally, I had a 2-months internship during my bachelor's degree, investigating the acute impacts of glucocorticoid overdose on the thymus and circulating immune cells. Benefiting from this, I am experienced in techniques such as cell culture, fluorescent microscopy, stereotaxic surgery, mice handling, tissue sectioning and mice dissectionAs a continuous improvement enthusiast, I am passionate about facing challenges and learning new skills.
