Since 2004, I have been fortunate to work in a position that has allowed me to work with students from many different backgrounds in many different ways. My responsibilities include:·Designed and delivered scaffolded and skill-based Language Arts instruction to students with documented disabilities such as learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional disturbance and developmental delays.·Case managed upwards of 30 individualized education plans a year, meeting with families, staff and outside service providers for IEP development.·Committee member of the district Language Arts alignment and text adoption.·Prepared and administrated state and local assessments.·Managed a $30,000+ yearbook account, forecasting, initiated a change in publisher, saving money at the high school and middle school.·Developed and delivered instruction in regard to journalism, professional writing, journalism law, interviewing, photography, graphic design, printing, publication and software-specific instruction.·Designed and delivered graphic design instruction, a project-based curriculum in conjunction with Lane Community College facilities and technology, integrated with other school programs such as business classes, marketing, athletics, and electronic media, as well as state-wide organizations like the Play For a Cure softball tournament.·Senior Project mentor.·Designed and co-taught technology district professional development.·Member of South Lane SD and CGHS building safety committee.·Member of the CGHS Vision Team.·Sub-committee leader and member of the Freshmen Team.

As part of a family-owned business, I have been designing media for the product portion of the business, creating mostly posters. Currently, we are one of the top sellers on Amazon for educational posters, selling thousands of posters to schools, organizations and even for movie productions, such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
