As the Clementi Family Assistant Educator, I am working alongside the Director of Education and the Manager of Education Programs to provide educational experiences in the museum. For the next two contracted years, my work will focus on deepening the connection and impact the Education Department has on its community and with in the museum.My position includes rigorous planning, documenting, and prototyping a family program or other educational programs. Other elements to my role include, partnering with community leaders to best support resident needs through the new family program, collaborate with curatorial through artists talks that are open to all, working our local college students, and maintain our community gallery with local organizations exhibiting every month.Originally a fellowship position, in my role I am receiving mentoring or oversight on new work experiences, learning about museum education department structure, actively participating program building, and leading on my own projects independently.Uniquely, I am also in responsible for writing copy, creating assets, and supporting our marketing for this department. Currently working as a dedicated Museum Teacher, I am committed to delivering an engaging and immersive educational experience for visitors. Trained in constructivist and community-responsive teaching methods, I specialize in employing Visual Thinking Strategies to facilitate dynamic and participatory art education. My expertise extends to the entire museum collection, and I take pride in crafting personalized lesson plans that bridge the gap between historical context, the museum's rich heritage, and our current exhibitions. Passionate about fostering a deep appreciation for art and cultural history, I strive to create an inclusive and interactive learning environment for all museum patrons. I work with all school age groups and adults. Currently I participate in Teaching Through Art lessons where our museum has partnered with Boston Public Schools teachers and students to use art as a form of critical thinking and group discussion. Recently created a lesson for the teaching cohort called "Queering the Museum" where we challenged dominant cis/heteronormative narratives, queer themes, and erasure of the LGBTQIA community. Previously worked as a Visitor Service Associate Level II from 2023 to 2024. This work included museum navigation support, explaining special exhibitions or museum history, and assistance with belonging storage. I was trained on Tesitura ticketing and membership software and assisted with booking general admissions tickets, future or special event tickets, membership sales, and assisting constituents with their profiles in the museum. Beyond these duties, I was selected by the Calderwood Hall Front of House manager to support the many music and lecture events. In this role I support our volunteers with the use of ticketing technology and help attendees.Last, I was part of a founding team who created a "Non Gender Biased" Language training in accordance with the American Museum Alliance guidelines for an inclusive work place.

My journey with Starbucks began as a key shift leading barista, crafting handcrafted beverages with precision and care during peak sale hours, connecting with our community through the art of coffee.My commitment to excellence led to my role as a long-term barista trainer, where I played a key role in supporting our district by training new staff for store openings. In the position of Shift Supervisor, I took on a leadership role, guiding a team to deliver exceptional service. This involved deploying partners strategically, leading the team through crucial sales periods, ensuring consistent inventory management, and analyzing sales trends to optimize performance.My experience as a Shift Supervisor from 2018 to 2023 honed my ability to navigate the fast-paced and dynamic world of Starbucks, where each cup represents a unique connection with our customers. I took pride in fostering a positive team culture and contributing to the success of our location through effective leadership and operational excellence. When beginning my careers in museums, I returned to a barista position where I continue with training new staff and serve my community amazing beverages.

Worked as a dedicated Museum Teacher for the 2023 school year. At TIHC, I was passionate about historical education and fostering insightful conversations. Engaged in educating students on the historical analysis of the Industrial Revolution, with a focus on its profound effects, colonial settlers, slavery, and the diverse experiences of multi-year immigration groups in Lowell. This impactful role was made possible through collaborations with UMass Lowell and the National Historical Parks who mentored me. Committed to providing an enriching and immersive learning experience that goes beyond the classroom, I aimed to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students through engaging programs and partnerships that bring history to life.

Team Leader at Easter Seals NH, passionately dedicated to creating impactful community-based programs for disabled and at-risk youth. In my role, I spearheaded one-on-one teenager to adult transition skill-building initiatives, meticulously documenting the success stories of our personalized approach. Actively engaged in forging vital connections, I collaborate with businesses, non-profits, and schools to provide comprehensive support for the youth in our program.My responsibilities included editing student documentation, following IEP plans, supporting students in career development and adult living, creating schedules for Staff/Students, and extensive de-escalation training. An important aspect was making lasting connections with community non-profits and businesses, enabling students to volunteer, work, or even job shadow.
