In my current role as Government Engagement Lead for Romania and Croatia at Mastercard, I leverage my 15+ years of legal and policy expertise to advance the company's mission of building a more inclusive and resilient digital economy. I work with governments, regulators, industry associations, and civil society to promote the adoption of innovative and secure payment solutions that benefit consumers, businesses, and society.I am passionate about EU affairs and European politics, and I have been an Associate Member at Chatham House since 2017, where I contribute to the research and dialogue on global issues and challenges. I have also published multiple articles on topics such as cybersecurity, energy, and internet regulation, and I speak fluent Romanian, English, and French.
