As a member of a simulation team I perform heat transfer calculations by the means of CFD simulations in the field of e-Mobility. By developing an electric powertrain, our team is to offer solutions for the increasing demand on electrification of vehicles.

The phenomena of pure solutal Marangoni-instability examined in space on board of the MASER-13 sounding rocket. It all started with a parabolic flight, in Bordeaux, France, 2012. The results were promising, the rest of the crew was knocked down by the motion sickness. Since then there were many test activities together with the hall of fame of the European space industry. Hard long days, sometimes with collisions of totally different point of views coming from the scientific side and from the engineering one. But we made it! In 2015 the MASER-13 was launched at the end of an extremely long MASER campaign. We reached our common goal: bring the scientific results which has not been seen before. Stay tuned! The years of knowledge deepening in the field I was always attracted to: numerical simulation. At the department of Mineralogy, Geochemistry and Petrology I was introduced to field hydrogeology, modeling of groundwater flow, heat transfer and contamination spreading. It has triggered an avalanche.
