I am a researcher specializing in computational astrophysics. I have expertise in computational fluid dynamics and high-performance computing. My experience includes detailed statistical analysis of large simulation datasets, underpinned by an understanding of a range of stastical methods, from linear regression to Monte Carlo methods and Bayesian statistics.I am experienced with software development in Python and C/C++, with the corresponding skills to use remote computing resources, and tools such as Git/Github. I have extensive experience running large, highly paralellised, computational projects on high-performance computing resources. I am familiar with a number of additional programming and scripting languages, including Fortran, R, Matematica and Kotlin.I am now actively seeking opportunities where I can contribute as a data scientist or software developer, utilizing my extensive background in numerical methods and computational sciences.
