BCO Trading Group: • Worked with Scoular’s Beneficial Cargo Ownership (BCO) team. Scoular’s BCO team specializes in trading containerized hedgeable and non-hedgeable products through the export market. Containerized Ocean Freight: • Worked directly with our origination customers in the process of buying Dried Distillers Grains and allocated the product to be transloaded into 40ft containers. • Calculated DDGs price indications for our foreign export customers weekly. • Worked with the Senior Market Manager in sales decisions to international markets and future purchase strategies based off our nearby and deferred positions and market expectations. Logistics and Bookings:• Successfully led our FOB/DAT trucking logistics and bookings for our DDGs program into Minneapolis, MN. • Handled the execution and allocation of 1,000 short tons per week.• Developed long term relations with new trucking companies that met both Scoular’s truck freight demands and the customers needs.International Markets:• Assisted the Senior BCO Manager in developing business strategies that targets key market zones where Scoular can compete and achieve long term customer relationships and growth.• Tracked customer prepayments and LC’s daily, assisted the assistant merchandisers and documentation team in making sure customers were following contract guidelines.

Research:• Independently led research for one of Corteva’s research plots. Research involved analyzing susceptibility to corn inbreds from pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicides.• Analyzed findings through developing pivot tables and charts from plot score data. • Presented my research at the corporate office in Johnston Iowa.• Placed 4th out of the 28 interns.Technology and Data Analyzation:• Developed flight patterns for Corteva’s Matrice 600 Pro DJI Drone using Map Pilot for DJI• Spotted and assisted in setting up and finishing drone flights for several research plotsTeamwork and Leadership:• Led 16 crew members in one of the pollination teams.• Voluntarily worked long hours assisting the agronomists and research assistants outside normal work hours
