Managed Army National Guard Force Structure on behalf of the Army. Coordinated and staffed Army National Guard structure changes with Headquarters Department of the Army. Managed emerging Army force structure projects to gain efficiencies and assist the Army in establishing a more effective force.

Led a team of portfolio managers and provided oversite for all combat arms equipment modernization and fielding for the Army National Guard, a force of over 350k Soldiers. Planned with the Headquarters Department of the Army staff through Army processes to determine the Army National Guards allocation of modern equipment. Provided analysis and recommendations to Army Senior leaders related to Army National Guard modernization. Oversaw the distribution of over $4B in military equipment to the Army National Guard.

Worked as a Branch Chief and Force Developer to develop capabilities, improve and synchronize Army equipment modernization, specifically in the areas of mission command, intelligence and cyber. Worked with the related Army Centers of Excellence and the Headquarters Department of the Army to reduce capability gaps, solve problems and integrate emerging capabilities into the Army. Helped shape the initial Army Cyber capability framework and led the Cyber Branch to develop capabilities for the Army.

Served in various staff positions for the Army to conduct analysis, lead projects and manage teams in order to effectively oversee resources, solve problems and ultimately assist the Army in building ready and capable forces to meet our nations strategic needs.

Served in various positions in operational units in the Nebraska National Guard, including company command, staff officer and platoon leader. Successfully planned and conducted operations and training. Managed hundreds of soldiers and resources in the tens of millions. A proven leader during deployments to Kuwait, Bosnia and Iraq.
