Elizabeth Ann Besa-Quirino, author of Every Ounce of Courage: A Daughter's Reflections On Her Mother's Bravery, her newest food memoir, is a multi-award winner of the Plaridel Writing Awards for journalism excellence, given by the Philippine-American Press Club in San Francisco, CA.
