I am currently available for large or small editing projects.As a independent editor, I have edited commercial publications, fiction, and academic works - senior theses, Master's theses, and Doctoral dissertations, I provide developmental editing services as well as copy editing, working on a per project basis.As a Liberal Arts Instructor at the Art Institute of Seattle for 26 years, I taught a variety of courses including creative writing and composition, communications, art history, and humanities. I also managed and supervised the college's Learning Lab and Peer Tutoring Program, managing both faculty peers and student workers. Both positions required direct supervision, organization, scheduling, record-keeping and superior people skills. While I love challenge of teaching and the precision of editing, for the last few years I have been following my life-long passion for fiction, writing urban fantasy, contemporary suspense, and paranormal romance novels. My novel Laramie Moon was a top 100 Amazon Bestseller. I write under the pen name Clare McKay.
