Brady Dyer Photography was started in 2006 after I saw a gap in the market as digital photography took off. Most photography companies were set in their old film ways resistant to switching to digital. I invested heavily in new photography equipment and my first paid job was photographing the Hurricanes team for their billboard campaign around Wellington.Since then, my work has been recognised and published in both New Zealand & Australia’s national newspapers, as well as various local & international magazines & online publications.Some of my commercial photography clients include Air New Zealand, Tourism New Zealand, Saatchi & Saatchi, Cigna, Lexus, Jim Beam, Resene, Nissan, Haier Pulse Netball Team, Burger Fuel and 1,000's others! Duplico's primary service is converting video tapes to a digital format. Kids first steps, old wedding videos, funerals, or any old memory stored on an old analogue tape can be converted into a digital format for easier playback in todays work, backed up, and preserved from the deterioration that occurs on analogue tapes. I have one staff member who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, while I manage the relationships with clients.

In May 2017 my wife & I opened Petone's only bridal shop at 287 Jackson Street Petone. We are the exclusive New Zealand stockists for a number of leading wedding designers from Australia, USA and Canada.My responsibilities are:- Building & maintaining the e-commerce website - Photography new dresses- Develop and implementing the digital marketing strategy

With my business partner Jonno Morrissey we launched Wellington's first permanent drive-in cinema. Starting this business was particular difficult because no one else in New Zealand was doing it, and our concept was to create a portable system and could move around the country. As-well as running the events on the day, my responsibilities as the marketing director were:- Manage our social media channels- Create monthly newsletters- Update our website with new events- Develop ticketing & payment portal through website- Approach and secure ticketing outlets in each area we were visiting- Work closely with our advertising sales team who focused on securing businesses to advertise at the events- Create promotional videos & photos of every event- Manage relationships with stakeholders including local councils, fundraising & community groups, venues, and advertisers.Due to time constraints for other businesses in 2017 my business parter & I sold Firefly Cinemas to a new entity who continues to grow the business from the solid platform we developed.

In 2013 my wife & I started IVY & Co. We bought a large collection of props & items for weddings & birthdays and hired these out. In 2014 we sold the business.My responsibilities were:- Photographing all stock- Building e-commerce website with credit card payment gateways- Creating & growing social media channels- Facebook advertising & Google adword marketing strategies to increase traffic

Issue one was launched in July of 2009 and ever since the NZ Photographer e-magazine has taken New Zealand photographers by storm. It was, and still is, the only free e-magazine published in New Zealand for photographers. From 2011-2013 I lead a team as the editor of the magazine. My role included:- Managing with writers, photographers & contributors of the magazine.- Development of story ideas- Selecting content for each issue & planning future issue content- Running social media channels (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram)- Selecting from a pool of submitted photos from contributors- Briefing the designer on the layout and direction of each issue- Proof read each issue before it was delivered to subscribers

SnapStar was a social photography website, covering all social events throughout New Zealand I was the head photographer in Wellington, as well as photographing every event I also took on the coordination role to ensure all events were covered by our large team of photographers throughout New Zealand.

For one year I was the Dick Smith Porirua's mobile specialist. Lots of training with the various mobile providers and attending new phone launches to keep my finger on the pulse of all things mobile.

I worked at Dick Smith part-time around my college & university studies. This included several periods of full-time work in holidays. I regularly was the top sales person for the store, and three times the leading salesperson for the Wellington region.Responsibilities included:- Matching customers needs or wants with the right technology- Basic training & education with customers on how to use their new purchase- Selling extended warranties - Keeping up-to-date with all new products- Regularly borrowing new products to explore their uses in my own time
