During my time at Wurth, I was tasked with bringing my vacant area back to target. During my first month I fell just short of target. However, every month after that I exceeded target greatly. I was formally recognised, and awarded, for winning a nationwide sales incentive within the company. This involved over 500 members of staff and I had only been working for the company for one month when it was initiated.

My basic retail duties included serving customers, visual merchandising, using the till, cashing up, sales, stock auditing, and processing deliveries. Very soon after I started, I was given a section that was performing poorly. Through my organisation and selling skills I managed to build the brand up to be a decent seller. This was recognised by my manager and I was entrusted to be placed on the brand new 'Pretty Green' section, which began to sell very well for what was a new addition to the store at the time, which I contributed towards significantly.

I had to talk to customers and entice them to enter Sakura using people skills, promotional offers and gentle persuasion with heavy competition from rival promoters.Given my polite and friendly nature I was a natural at this job, leading to several rival bars approaching me for my services, which led to an increase in my pay to stay at Sakura.

My basic duties included: serving customers, visual merchandising, operating the till, cashing up, sales, stock auditing and processing deliveries.I performed these tasks so reliably and successfully that I was promoted to Supervisor, where I helped lead a team up to 12 through their day to day tasks; organising, training and supporting them, whilst occasionally managing the store when the manager had a day off.
