Manage the shipping, warehousing, and inventory of all finished tubular products.-Develop, recommend, and implement continuous improvement practices to reduce waste and inefficiencies.-Develop and implement policies and procedures for shipping operations.-Promote and enforce health and safety work practices as required by Atlas and occupational safety and health standards.-Build and maintain a positive team environment amongst shipping associates.-Evaluate employee performance based upon job requirements and behavioral indicators of performance.

Manage MRO materials for Atlas Tubes (JMC) four structural division facilities.-maintain, monitor and analyze MRP systems within SAP for accurate ordering and on hand stock quantities.-setup and secure companies for VMI stock.-supervise the management of pulling items for work orders/capex.-ensure corporate and plant level procedures are adhered to.-lead stockroom design, implementation, inventory and support a highly utilized division of MRO inventories.-develop continuous improvement initiatives division wide.

We produce more than 2.0 million tons of tubular products a year through our 12 Manufacturing facilities.-product experience includes flat rolled low/medium carbon steels & HSLA steels to produce various hss grades such as ASTM A252, A500, A135, A53, various CSA grades such as 50WT, 350AT, 480AT and H class stress relieved material.-over see all quality employees both on the tube mills and in the quality lab from final pipe/tube inspection to tensile testing, impact testing and materialography. -responsible for ensuring calibration and certification of all inspection, measuring and test equipment including tensile tester, extensometers, eddy current tester, ultra sonic testing units, ultra sonic thickness gauges, micrometers & calipers per ISO 9001:2008.-monitor and analyze all KQCs and quality related KPIs such as customer complaints/claims, internal/external costs of quality and MTR accuracy.
