I have a customer that that has been having major trouble with their copy of Quickbooks and even with 30 years in this business and numerous degrees, I have been unable to resolve it. I have been working with Intuit on every level of technician from entry to the highest level of their tiers. They have been unable to resolve the problems as well. It has gone to their engineers and back to their techs several times. No one seems to have the answers. It has gotten to a point where Intuit has said they can do no more. I disagree with this. I feel they can fix or replace the non working software that they sold me and my customer. I argued this all the way up to what I was told was one level below the C.E.O.. So I argued to have him call me directly. I was told he would never do that. This problem was not worthy of his attention. If anyone has ever done business with me, you can tell everyone that I will fight for my customers till their is no fight left in me. I do not accept NO for answer when it comes to helping my customers. So. Since the gatekeepers tell me no, I simply go around them. I sent Brad Smith, C.E.O. of Intuit, an email on a Sunday morning explaining what is going on. Five minutes after receiving the email, he sent me a response and is now handling this situation personally with his top executives. I have already received a response from one of them and have been told that we will resolve this. I am sure this week will not be very good for the people I have been dealing with at Intuit up till now. Because of this, I have to say that I am impressed with Brad Smith. I am very impressed that a C.E.O. of a corporation that size is just like me and works every day for its customers. I am always working for them even when I am off the clock, if I had a clock. Great job Brad Smith."
