I worked on a 10 unit UV Comco Pro-Glide with 3 die stations, cold and hot foil, rotary screen and a BST Camera system, producing very high end labels. I had to maintain very high quality standards with minimal room for defects of any kind. I had to perform quality control checks every 5,000 linear feet of material printed. I mixed ink, make sure of all proper ink levels, and perform regular maintenance.

Scan blueprints to computer hard drive. Pull up files on computer and print blueprints to customer liking. Manage computer files. Billing customer orders.

Duties included matching color to customer specifications, setting register, setting and maintaining all rollers, plates, and blankets to obtain a quality product. I also had to fill out time, job, ink, and paper reports on each job that was ran. I worked on 3 offset presses as a roll tender, and as a 2nd man. (5 color Mitsubishi with Butler roll stand, 5 color Baker Perkins G14 with Butler roll stand, and a 5 color ATF with Butler roll stand.) Duties included mounting plates, making sure correct size, weight, and brand of paper was put onto the press. Maintaining ink, maintaining ink, and paper reports, and assisting head pressman.
