Under the direction of Dr. Palanaippan, I researched adding functionality to a project named KOLAM. This program is similar in nature to Google Earth and provides the ability to view extremely large datasets such as satellite imagery in real time. This application was originally written in C++ and uses the QT GUI framework for the user interface.• Implemented the ability to dynamically load image operation plugins within KOLAM.• Ported the source code of KOLAM from QT 3 to QT 4
