I am responsible for managing and conducting ecological studies for a variety of clients ranging from state agencies to private industry. Recent projects include basin-wide instream flow studies, aquatic resource relocations, long-term monitoring of threatened and endangered species, examining movement and habitat utilization of threatened large-river catostomids using radio telemetry, and assessing movement of endangered fountain darters using Visual Implant Elastomer (VIE) tags. As a senior level biologist I am experienced in all aspects of projects including field work, data analysis and interpretation, report preparation, and project management.

Conducted laboratory research to determine food habits and general life history information for the headwater catfish, and examine reproductive ecology and diet of the Texas shiner. Conducted field research to quantify the spatial and temporal distribution of fishes in the Blanco River basin.
