I was the store manager of the Vault in Lake Stevens. Since joining the Vault in 2019, I was promoted several times until holding the position of store manager. I was responsible for hiring and overseeing all staff, management of cash supply in the store, maintaining industry network connections, assigning all new inventory in the system to be sellable, managing the online menu, and providing excellent customer service.

I assembled a corpus of papers referencing streamflow restoration and then text mined them to extract metadata and assess relevance for the scope of the project allowing us to score them on relevance for our report. Then with my project manager, Steve Katz, we complied an extensive summary document on the types of stream restoration found in the literature along with the reported success of the restoration and monitoring. This document was used by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to aid in decision making for planning future restoration projects and management of surface water within the state.

I developed a website that collects data from USGS, State Departments of Ecology, and the National Water Model to compare current stream flow to legally designated flows. I displayed this data in near real time on a map so the user can visualize what stream reaches are meeting the minimum instream flow rules. I also added a charts section that allows for data exportation for areas of interest.

I taught environmental science labs weekly where we focused on hands on learning. I graded assignments, quizzes, and exams. I would also hold review sessions before the exams to prepare the students.

I sourced satellite images using Google Earth and mapped patterns of temperature and precipitation across the Americas to determine how ENSO would oscillate climate regimes.

I tested different remote sensing algorithms to determine which was the most effective in detecting surface water in the Volta Basin. I then analyzed satellite images over 20 years to map how water reservoirs are changing in the Volta Basin effecting fresh water and fish availability for the communities that rely on these resources.
