Develops Grainger's go to market strategy as it relates to Utility Energy Efficiency Programs nationwide. Identifies opportunities to partner with select utilities and integrates any incentives within internal sales channel systems in order to deliver discounts directly to customers for the purchase of energy efficient equipment.Takes sometimes very complex regional utility programs and reworks them into internal systems that can uniformly track, report and analyze all company activity in these programs at the national scale.Creates internal resources to simplify the understanding of energy efficiency programs for Grainger sellers and customers. Educates the sales organization on how to promote energy efficiency in the marketplace and present the offerings of these programs to their customers.

Responsible for all data analysis and standardized reporting relating to the Specialty Healthcare Actuary Pricing team. Regular tasks include the compilation and improvement of data visualization for key pricing performance indicators including but not exclusive to pricing strength, rate, retention, and loss studies.Data mining, quality control and ad hoc querying using multiple data analysis applications to support the healthcare actuary/underwriting departments is a consistent task. Also works on large scale data projects including the integration of proprietary 3rd party data sets into CNA systems.

Responsible for all data analysis for multiple utility energy efficiency programs throughout the Midwest (ComEd, AEP Kentucky, AEP I&M). Regular tasks included compiling numerous reports identifying key performance indicators across all levels of program implementation as well as accurate forecasting. Managed the databases for ComEd's BILD and BPD program which also included the technical review of newly added energy efficient products. Quality assurance and quality control of data is a constant priority. Regularly provided IT assistance for all front end and back end interfaces used throughout the programs.

Provided engineering assistance by technically reviewing numerous energy efficiency projects, calculating energy savings and the corresponding incentives to be paid out to projects. Conducted on-site energy inspections to ensure and verify that the projects were in compliance with the ComEd energy efficiency program.

A summer educational program that provided a small group of participants the opportunity to significantly expand our comprehension of the complex web of factors driving sustainable innovation across the business, government, and nonprofit arenas. Projects included a collaboration with a small team to create the new Foresight Mesh media outlet from beginning planning stages to final output; working with McDonald’s VP of Non-Food Supply Chain to create a full life-cycle model of non-food waste created by McDonald’s; further developing the Foresight Better business by researching products, developing performance matrices and presenting the project to a large group at Green Drinks.

Traveled the country performing point source air emissions tests at a wide variety of manufacturing facilities to ensure the client’s compliance with EPA regulations. Managed all data and sample recovery from pollution sources and ensured all technical protocols were followed according to EPA standards to maintain the integrity of the samples and results. Coordinated logistical efficiency of projects by creating packing lists, assigning trailers, and mapping routes depending on project. Gained invaluable knowledge about numerous manufacturing processes in regards to its impact on the environment and the relationship these facilities have with the federal and state’s EPA.

Worked directly with Baxter’s Director of Sustainability on a report analyzing data from the Carbon Disclosure Project. Looked at sustainability trends from companies within the healthcare sector to see what different types of emissions companies were reporting and where Baxter ranked among companies within this sector.
