The role had accountability for Group Planning and Forecasting, Financial Accounting and Statutory Reporting, Management Reporting, Business Analysis, Information Technology and Communications, Supply Chain (including, Port Services and Logistics), Contract Management, Legal, Tax and Audit.This role was partly residential based in Lae, Papua New Guinea and partly FIFO.

The role had accountability for Planning and Forecasting, Accounting transactional functions, Management Reporting, Statutory Reporting, Business Analysis, Information Technology and Communications, Supply Chain including, Port Services and Stevedoring; and Contract Administration (legal). The position also had a significant role in managing Landowner commercial relationships and activities and developing their business opportunities.This role was residential based on Lihir Island, New Ireland Province, Papua New Guinea.

This broad role included the creation and administration of financial reporting systems and procedures, relationships management, fund raising management, preparing strategic plans and budgeting, contract management, human resource management, office administration and company secretarial.
