I have been in the building industry for 20 plus years. Most of my entire family are all dentist. Although my dad somewhat shamed me by telling me I would never amount to anything if that's all I was going to do with my life, it appears they call for my help way more than I do for theirs. I tell that story because it's a testament of how much I love what I do. I had many opportunities to change occupations and do something positive with my life, if you asked my family. I am confident that building a structure that an entire family has put their faith in to keep them safe, dry, and create lifelong memories, in my opinion, is as positive and humbling as any career I could have chosen. I love what I do for a living because I'm good at it and really it's all I know. I love to see that look on a customer's face when they see something they didn't think was possible. When they are so happy that sometimes even a tear rolls down there cheek but the words can't come out of their mouth because of the excitement and joy and happiness they're sharing as a couple or as a family. That's as positive as I ever want to get because that's why I do what I do, simply for those smiles.
