Perform Journeyman level maintenance duties on Nuclear Facilities at the Idaho National Laboratory. Installs, modifies, repairs, calibrates, fabricates and qualifies nuclear facility and research equipment.

*Responsible for the maintenance and repair of dialysis machines, water treatment and ancillary medical equipment as recommended by the equipment manufacturer’s specifications and DaVita policies and procedures in three dialysis facities in Southeast Idaho.*Regional preceptor for Idaho and Utah. Assist in the training process of new hires for the Biomed position as well as help do annual skills evaluations with existing teammates. *Participate in on-site ESRD surveys and inspections by state and federal surveyors, when notified*Educate Nurses and Patient Care Technicians on any new company Policies and/or Procedures as well as any new equipment that is put into service.*Order and maintain an appropriate parts inventory for all equipment serviced.

Maintained and repared the lines that prepare and package the food items to be sold. Worked on 3 phase motors, hydrolics and pneumatic systems. Performed work with metal lathes, saws and welding equipment to fabricate new parts and modify parts to work more efficiently.
