I do so much more than just announce players. I write a script for each home game, including sponsor copy. In addition to serving as PA announcer, I also serve as the DJ. I provide pre-game, in-game, and post-game entertainment by playing music and sound effects.

• Manage a 16-person team to produce newscasts at an award-winning television station in the seventh-largest media market in the United States.• Identify newsworthy story pitches on the local, national and international level.• Take complex and lengthy story information and present it in a short, easy-to-understand way using graphics, videos, and images.• Analyzed daily reports on viewer trends, expectations and interests that were used to direct future news coverage decisions.

I launched the midday show within the first two weeks of my hiring. Airing at 11 a.m., this show was constantly changing and evolving with breaking news and new information coming in. I juggled multiple live shots and press conferences. I spent a year producing our 8 p.m. newscast. I completely overhauled it from a semi-entertainment show to a traditional newscast. The change noticeably raised the ratings. I also periodically wrote and produced packages.

I launched two shows at WINK News, the 4:30 a.m. and the rebranding of the 9 a.m. Management wanted something more relaxed and light to showcase the anchor's personality. My News Director and Executive Producer tapped me to launch it because as a Senior Producer, I require little to no supervision and would have immediate success. Before that, I produced one of the station's most important newscasts, generating content for the most-watched 6:00 a.m. newscast in Southwest Florida.Every day, I make decisions about coverage between EP shifts as well as write and produce an hour of content daily, and arrange live shots. I guide the other five producers on the morning shift by assisting with editorial decisions as they stack their newscasts.I have experience in producing a number of different newscasts on all day parts on both WINK and WXCW. I managed the three-hour weekend morning newscasts as the interim weekend Executive Producer.I excelled as the 5:00 a.m. producer, winning several ratings books and also launched a winning 4:30 a.m. newscast, defeating the competition in the first ratings book after its creation.I also served as the morning web/social media producer. I kept our website, Facebook and Twitter up to date with breaking news as well as stories that engaged our online audience.

In my two years at WMAZ, I produced every show on every shift. Since it’s a small market station, I wore many hats. In times where we were short handed, I shot spot news and also put together some anchor packages. On the weekend morning show, I booked relevant guests which served a purpose. I was very active on social media, as well.

I took part of the Disney College Program, then became a seasonal cast member!

I edited video all day, three days a week. All aired on CNN, HLN or CNN International.

I wrote stories on everything from Board of Education and County Commission meetings to a group of men who made their own knives. I took photos for all of my stories and also assisted with laying out the paper.
