Brad serves as CEO of Allies for Community Business. A4CB provides the capital, coaching, and collaboration entrepreneurs need to grow great businesses in their communities.Brad has previously served as Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer of the Department of Planning and Development for the City of Chicago. He led the Executive Projects and Operations unit, through which he oversaw Special Projects, Legislative Affairs, Finance, Human Resources, and Technology for the department.Previously, he served as the lead Economic Policy Advisor for Senator Richard J. Durbin in Washington, where he pursued legislation to help families save their homes, strengthen banking regulations, create jobs, reduce the federal budget deficit, reform the federal tax code, promote balanced trade, and improve campaign finance. Earlier he was Vice President at LaSalle Bank in Chicago focusing on small business lending and operations, and Manager at Accenture in Chicago and London focusing on strategy and technology initiatives.Brad earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Notre Dame and his Masters in Public Policy (Public Administration) from Georgetown University.
