I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville majoring in both Psychology and Business Management with a collateral in sales, with aspirations to work in sales following my graduation in May of 2024. My previous experiences in the work field have added invaluable attributes and taught lessons I still use today. I have worked as a Produce and Freezer specialist at Save a Lot Food Stores, a Host at Chuy's Tex Mex Restaurant, a Lawn and Garden Associate at Hyvee, and as a Corn Pollination Team Lead at Dupont Pioneer, all of which have increased my willingness to lead and ability to learn quickly. I served as the Vice President of my fraternity, which has further increased my ability to lead, delegate, and manage people and a budget. Through this role, I planned, organized and executed events with several other organizations, one of which raised over $9,000, have booked venues and entertainment, and have even executed an out of state formal event with a venue, band and hotel. I currently work as a Student Ambassador and Tour Guide for the University of Tennessee, where I have improved my ability to foster relationships with customers, improve my intrapersonal skills and learn how to personalized the UT tour to a diverse crowd of potential students. This experience with selling several different items and experiences has made me a hard worker and has honed my ability to learn new information rapidly and collaborate with others so that I can perform with excellence in any position.I aspire to use these experiences and skills to rise to the challenge of entering the medical sales field upon graduation. My ability to resonate with people, think critically, work tirelessly and learn rapidly will serve me well as I enter a rigorous and competitive field that values a sharp wit and spirit of collaboration above all else.
