As President and Publisher of Battenkill Communications, I oversee two leading international hobby magazines and their expanding multi-channel products. Brew Your Own magazine is the largest paid circulation publication devoted to the homebrewing hobby. WineMaker magazine is the largest paid circulation publication for people who make their own wine. Each magazine is published in a variety of digital formats and has its own website with a paywall membership (byo.com and winemakermag.com). We also run several events in our two niches: The WineMaker International Amateur Wine Competition (world's largest amateur wine competition held annually), WineMaker Magazine Conference (annual four-day event held in a different wine country location each year), Brew Your Own Boot Camps (homebrewing online workshops), NanoCon (annual virtual online conference for small-scale commercial craft breweries), GaragisteCon (annual online conference for small-scale commercial wineries), and WineMaker Boot Camps (both in-person and virtual online winemaking workshops). We publish a regular series of newsletters across our hobbies and a monthly podcast on small-scale craft brewing. In addition we host weeklong brewery and winery tours around the world and publish books in the two related hobby categories. Our main office is in Manchester Center, Vermont.

Was in charge of acquiring and editing all beer and wine related books for this how-to publisher. Also ran all direct-to-consumer sales efforts of Storey's entire list of publications through mail order and web.
