Founding Huffines Consulting I am an instructor with DHS/FEMA's Emergency Management Institute at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD, as well as working in the same role for the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services training division, California Specialized Training Institute. I currently am also the Senior VP, Weather Risk Management for WeatherCall Services, where I work with companies and individuals to help create notification plans for dangerous weather events, to allow companies to predictably react to these events. I am also a licensed real estate broker and REALTOR® with Wayfinder Homes, LLC, based in Elon, NC.I also teach and present at seminars, community gatherings, and as an invited subject matter expert on meteorology, social media and emergency notification. I have served as Chief Meteorologist at WAAY-TV in Huntsville, AL, after working in similar positions in Spartanburg, SC, Savannah, GA, and Sherman, TX, with a brief stop in Tulsa, OK. I was the Director of Meteorology for a company called WeatherPlus, where we launched and ran a weather and traffic network in the Netherlands, while partnering with the ANWB in The Hague.
