CurrentResponsible for developing and documenting records and information management policies and procedures for all offices including retention, information security and confidentiality and those that cover email and electronic records; Implementation and management of firmwide automated records management system and RFID technology; Work with firm’s executive management, admin, IT, and RIM Task Force to develop firm-wide guidelines for managing client files regardless of their format or origin; Train firm employees on firm RIM policies and procedures to enforce compliance; Responsible for training and supervising records and other firm staff.Identify inefficiencies in current new, active and closed matter file management processes; Work with attorneys and staff to educate on the importance of solid RIM practices; Forte is in Creative Marketing of the RIM department throughout the Firm; Serves on Going Green Committee and coordinates major firm purges and recycling campaigns. Began p.s. Goin' Green Newsletter and the Green Giant Spotlight which spotlights an individual or a small group within the firm that has done something green and rewards with accolades in the Newsletter as well as with a prize. Introduced the Biggest Loser: Paper-less Competition to help in identifying high volume printers and create friendly competition for minimizing printing.Pivotal in introducing the concept of Information Governance to the firm and working toward building an IG framework that involves the proper parties within the firm in making major Information Mangement decisions.
