Self employed. Responsible for daily operations including, but not limited to: purchasing/ leasing of equipment and other supplies, invoicing, payroll and taxes, hiring and firing of contractors and overseeing maintenance and upgrade projects for companies like Comcast Cable, Time Warner Cable, Cox Cable, Charter Communications, ect.(the customer). The oversight of these projects would include such tasks as performance evaluations of contractors. Review, approval and submission of certification documentation to the customer. Creating of and adhering to deadlines and budgets, meeting with the customer to evaluate budget, progress and performance of the projects. Evaluating and adjusting BOMs, system design, and system performance as required. Addressing and correcting technical issues found in the field such as design errors, or equipment performance. Responsible for bringing these issues to the attention of the system designers or companies like Cisco, General Instruments, Motorola, ect. and creating a solution that is acceptable for all parties involved.
