My role in the People and Culture Graduate has been to support operation in a range of capacities, such as Business Partnering and Advisor roles. A substantial amount of my role has been Business Partnering with Regional Managers and supporting in people and culture related matters. Some of my key responsibilities include;- Delivery of KPI’s such as leave liability, absence and turnover - Manage end to end grievances, disputes, complaints and investigations - Talent and succession planning - Manage external stakeholders, such as unions - Upskill line managers - Provide guidance and advice to line manager and nominated support roles where required - Embed company desired LEaD behaviours Some of my key achievement in role to date are; - Reduce both casual and permanent team member separations over 6 months, resulting in savings of approximately $30,000 in on-boarding costs. - Increase the utilisation of the casual workforce within the region, resulting in a decline of casual turnover of nearly 10% over 6 months - Embed a culture of feedback and recognition, learning and development (career progression) and individual accountability to achieve an increase of team member engagement by 4% over 1,100 team members. - Successfully implement a 12-month succession plan that involved increasing indigenous team members in leadership roles, increasing female representation in senior leadership roles and in-house succession for the next 12 months. - Manage end to end grievances, roster disputes and investigations 'in house' with no cases being escalated to the fair work commission for conciliation or arbitration.

Throughout my 6 years working in store operations, I have held a range of rolls from team member to store leadership positions.
