Intern
For my internship, I was responsible for to keep track of the day-to-day activities that happened on my job site. Along with noting what happened, I would collect tickets and file them appropriately. I would also keep track of quantities and work on pay estimates for the contractors. I was working at the Eastern Iowa Airport, so I made sure the contractors were following the airport strict rules. I spent most of my time as quality assurance for the airport and notify my boss or contractor if the product was not up to our standards. Finally, I worked on building relationships with the contracts, to better understand the construction process.
