While attending Michigan State University, I held an on campus job at the MSU Union for over 2 years. During my experience at the MSU Union, I worked as a Facilities Employee that specialized in Event Planning and Problem Solving. The job required employees to set up and take down event layouts as well as clean rooms where events are held.

While attending Michigan State University, I was able to take advantage of one of the study abroad programs hosted by the University. During this experience, I traveled to Amsterdam, Paris and London to learn about the advertising industry on an international level. We visited several advertising agencies in the three locations and participated in intellectual discussions with the employees and owners of the agencies.

During this internship, I created a promotional flyer for the company and visuals for a new brand logo. This internship provided me with a better understanding behind the process of using audience analysis when creating content to effectively reach the target audience.

This job helped me gain customer service experience while I got acquainted with the responsibilities required by the job. Cashier tasks involved scanning and punching in item codes, bagging customer's groceries, delivering proper communication that engages the customer in a positive manor, and developing positive relationships with all coworkers and customers.
