In charge of managing the GIS software, GIS database, and troubleshooting GIS issues throughout various departments at the county. Upgraded the county GIS system from a 9.3 SQL SDE Geodatabase to 10.3.1 SQL SDE Geodatabase. This involved a brand new database being set up in SQL 2012 with the data being copied over to it. Upgraded ArcGIS for server from 10.0 to 10.4 along with users desktop software from 10.1 to 10.3.1. Created a new web map using Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS to increase access across multiple platforms (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Tablets, Smartphones) for people of Newaygo County. Provide technical support for various IT issues. Activating and managing new cell phones for county employees. Applying updates to the county website. Writing programs to automate certain functions.
