Passion has lead me into some interesting areas of the credit management industry, from collections, to fraud investigations that have lead to some interesting and unexpected turns, and consultancy that always keeps you on your toes. Creating new technology and software is always enjoyable, watching the technology being adopted by industries is priceless. From software design through to online tools, creating something that hasn't been done before is rewarding and can solve a lot of issues for clients. It doesn't always have to be technology that solves problems. In some cases clients have had the right technology, it is the processes and company structure that requires some attention. Working as a management consultant in the Banking and Finance industry ensures there is never a dull moment. Working with companies with debt values from a few million through to hundreds of millions to billions. No two companies are the same, and no one solution can fit all. This is why I enjoy working with a wide range of companies in multiple areas. Years of study, research and experience definitely pays off in this industry as you need to draw on all your resources when solving some of the unique issues in the vast industry that is, credit management. Being invited to assist some very innovative and passionate companies and government agencies around the globe, has given insight into where the industry has been and the direction it is heading.
