The world of IT contracts is unnecessarily complicated and opaque. Often, when vendors like Microsoft or Salesforce say “this is our best and final offer,” there’s still room for negotiation. I know this first-hand from years of working on the sales side. So in 2015, I took that career’s worth of experience and co-launched Dark Horse Intelligence, a company that negotiates better IT contracts for companies – and saves millions in unnecessary IT costs. I’ve personally negotiated over 1,200 contracts, and with my partner, built a global network of IT leaders we turn to for insight. I understand the mindsets of sales professionals and leaders, having been one myself, and have access to the deep knowledge of our network. I thrive under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping my clients succeed. They appreciate that I’m always honest and straightforward, well-informed, results-driven, and professional yet personable. Before founding Dark Horse, I was a management consultant to multiple F500 tech companies, focusing on improving their sales and negotiation practices. I also led the sales organization of one of North America’s top sales training firms which helped teams at technology companies to perform better and protect their margins in negotiation. Also, depending on who you ask, I was the fourth Bee Gee.
